Epiduo For Cystic Acne

Epiduo is generally used in the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 12 years and older.  It is usually applied to the skin once daily and has been found to be effective in treating acne by making skin clearer and preventing future outbreaks from occurring.

How do I use Epiduo?

Wash hands before applying Epiduo and gently clean the affected skin area with a mild or soapless cleanser beforehand, gently pat dry.  Apply a thin layer of the Epiduo once daily unless otherwise directed by a doctor or physician.  Do not apply to inner lip area, inside the nose and or mouth, or on mucus membranes.  Make sure not to apply on or near cuts, scrapes, scabs, sunburned or eczema affected skin as this could lead to skin irritation and other damage.
